New owners of Theriak have broad experience in software development for healthcare organisations and the subsidiary of CIS-Healthcare has e.g. developed one of the leading software solutions in Europe for cancer units. Theriak will work closely with subsidiaries of CIS-Healthcare that operate in the ICT healthcare field. The Theriak products have been custom-made for medication management at hospitals and Theriak ehf, has sites in Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Germany and Holland.
A part of TM Software-Healthcare sold
Earlier this year TM Software sold a part of its Healthcare unit. This being the Theriak products along with the Theriak name. The new owners of Theriak are Bru II Venture Capital Fund S.C.A. SICAR and CIS-Healthcare from Britain.
The sale does not have any effect on other TM Software’s Healthcare products; Saga, Hekla, Medicor or any other solutions that the company has developed and are used at most healthcare organizations and pharmacies in Iceland. „Through the sale we can further enhance existing solutions and service our present and future customers even better. TM Software has always been an ambitious leader in software development and will of course continue that way,” said Ágúst Einarsson, CEO of TM Software.
