Hosting for the utility company Norðurorka

The Icelandic utility company Norðurorka has signed a contract with TM Software on hosting of the Vigor Utility system, hence now a being a part of the large utility company group that TM Software services.
Norðurorka is among the largest utilities in Iceland and runs its operation in the town Akureyri in northern Iceland. The aim of the company is to harness and use geothermal heat, hydropower, water and any other type of resource. Also to distribute and sell energy, water and other yields of the company as well as any other form of operation which can utilise research, knowledge or equipment which the company has at its disposal.
Norðurorka has been TM Software‘s customer for years. The new contract states that Norðurorka now rents access to TM Software‘s hardware which ensures upgrades, smooth, operation, backup and other service.
