Corporate Social Responsibility

TM Software’s managers and owners consider CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) to be the key factor in procedures and growth of the company. According to EU the definition of CSR is:

A concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis. (Commission Green Paper 2001 “Promoting a European Framework for Corporate Social Responsibility”, COM(2001)366 Final).

Since foundation, in 1986, TM software has worked according to this concept and it will continue to set a good example in this field as in others.

According to the European Union an important aspect of CSR is how enterprises interact with their internal and external stakeholders. TM Software has focused on these interactions in its organisation processes and taken e.g. employees, customers, neighbours, non-governmental organisations and public authorities into account. The goal is to make the success measurable, full with ambition and energy and trust, and thereby place the company in first place in this field.
The corporation does however place little emphasise on charity donation, as behaviour plays a much larger role in social responsibility than money.

Environment
Having our origins in Iceland, we are naturally committed to fostering a healthy environment. As responsible corporate stewards, TM Software ensures our internal policies contribute to the efficient usage of our natural resources.
